Things Open conference in Raleigh, N.C. Produced by a small team of
in-house filmmakers, Red Hat seeks to highlight and support communities
and organizations who have embraced the open source way and inspire
audiences to explore open possibilities for 21st century
innovation.
The short documentary
features e-NABLE,
a non-profit organization whose global network of volunteers use open
source technology and 3-D printing to create prosthetic devices for
those in need - with the goal of providing them to underserved
populations around the world for free. By producing prosthetic devices
the open source way, e-NABLE is changing lives and expanding what is
possible when you embrace open source philosophies.
