Recognition complements other recent accolades for Red Hat's growing
partner program
RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), the world's leading provider of open source
solutions, today announced it has been awarded a 5-star rating in CRN's
2015 Partner Program Guide for the third year in a row. The annual CRN
Partner Program Guide is a widely recognized listing of technology
vendors and honors companies that dedicate resources into backing up
their channel with training, support, and enablement.
The list is compiled based on objective criteria set by CRN,
taking into account each vendor's investments in program offerings,
partner profitability, partner training, education and support,
marketing programs and resources, sales support, and communication.
Vendors are assessed using the information that they provide in their
completed applications. 5-star recipients were selected based on the
information provided in their award applications, and how it matched up
to the aforementioned criteria.
The 5-Star Partner Program rating follows the recent recognition of five Red
Hat executives as 2015 CRN Channel Chiefs, including Margaret
Ann-Bolton, senior director, Global Partner Marketing; Rachel Cassidy,
vice president, Global Partner Enablement; Mark Enzweiler, senior vice
president, Global Channel Sales and Alliances; D. Robert Martin, vice
president, North American Partner Sales; and Scott Musson, vice
president, Global Strategic Alliances. All were all recognized for their
proven leadership, channel advocacy, and commitment to the channel.
Enzweiler was also named by CRN as one of "The
50 Most Influential" Channel Chiefs.
CRN has also recognized Red Hat in other ways in recent months.
For the second year in a row, the publication named Red Hat one of the "Coolest
Cloud Vendors", and featured Red Hat on its "Data
Center 100" list, a collection of the top companies powering,
supporting, and protecting today's complex data centers.
Red Hat's channel program is designed to help partners provide their
customers with innovative open source solutions. The program includes
the Red
Hat Online Partner Enablement Network (OPEN), a training and
accreditation platform that helps partners enable their customers to
make sound technology purchasing decisions. Over the past year the
company also introduced Amazon
Test Drives with Amazon Web Services, which enable Red Hat partners
to run, test, and demo solutions.
CRN is one of the established brands from The Channel Company, a
trusted authority for growth and innovation in the channel community.
