"By its very nature, open source creates a community-oriented culture
grounded in a set of shared beliefs regarding the development and use of
software," said Mike Piech, general manager, Middleware, Red Hat. "It's
prevalent in some of the most transformational areas of computing today,
including big data, cloud computing, mobility, and social networking.
Without the open source communities driving innovation, these
technologies would not be where they are today. That's what DevNation is
about - developers coming together to teach, learn, and do - ushering in
the next era of transformation and innovation."
